| Anyway, the Touch is a good device. Once you jailbreak it, it becomes an unbelievable device. Personally, I don't feel the need to carry my whole music collection with me, so I feel the 32 gig version is overpriced. (There are also workarounds, such as streaming your iTunes library over the internet to your Touch, but you'll sacrifice some battery life doing that.) |
OK, you all convinced me--I'm going with the 16GB iTouch. I want Wifi capability. Where would you recommend purchasing? Apple Store, or Costco? Seems they are about 12,000 cheaper at Costco. |

Well, Costco has a really good return policy, so if you had any problems with it or just don't like it you can return it. |

| I'm not sure about Costco. I think that they are selling the older model that does not include maps, stocks and stuff. Of course you can always jailbreak it by yourself, but... |

| Nevermind. Screw Apple. They're making people pay for firmware upgrades?! And likely for each SDK-developed "opensourse" (ahem) app that will be released. Yeah, right. If I'm gonna pay for each feature, I'll go with the bigger screen and 160GB of the Archos 605 for the same money. |
