What with having to foil plots to kill Danish cartoonists, global warming setting off teenagers and just generally being inundated with vile, evil Moslems, whoda thought Denmark is the happiest country on earth?

Somehow, something doesnt add up. Could it be the Danes just arent paying attention to their national and cultural suicide? Or could it be that some posters own paranoia/personality problems is getting the better of them?

This is according to 60 Minutes, so it's probably not true. The Danes interviewed are clearly telling lies. One even says he thinks 'happy' is the wrong word. 'Content' is his choice of words.

Denmarks come a long way since the days of Hamlet. That report made me wish I was a Dane. I would really like to get paid to go to grad school, instead of moving to Korea for a year or two to teach English so that I can pay for it.

I thought I read somewhere that Nigeria was the happiest country in the world.

All the Kenyans I've known would boldly say, "Nigeria is the most corrupt country in the world."

Shhh! Don't let that get out. If both Denmark and Nigeria claim the title, they'll have to have a war to see who is happier.

That's the problem with Europeans. They are smug, a little too happy for their own good. That's unsurprising of course because Europe is culturally, politically, socially and aesthetically excellent. The British laugh at Muslim extremists and their risible proclamations rather than loath them for their inferiority and vulgarity. Europeans will get theirs, with their calling anyone racist for criticizing immigration, with their low fertility rates and parasitic career girl ideas, with their immigrant population who subscribe to barbarism as infallible truth.

That would actually be an interesting war. Probably more guns and rifles in Nigeria, but I think the Danes have fighter jets, a few destroyers and subs.

How is it possible to be too happy for one's own good? Other than drugs, I mean.

It's those parasitic career girls who don't realize their real happiness depends on being barefoot and pregnant in their husband's kitchen. They just don't appreciate how good their moms had it in the good old days.

It depends who you ask. If you ask a member of the Conservative Party, you may well get a 'no'. However, Britons are de facto Europeans and Britain a member of the European Union.

Rather a silly question, frankly.

Absolute rubbish. Women earning $25,000 a year in hagwons and in call centers are doing so out of choice? Give me a break! Mr. Green Women are denied the opportunity to perform their evolutionary duty and purpose because getting pregnant is burdensome and to be avoided rather than lucrative and to be sought. I can fix it.

edit: it's the societal ideas and pressures that are parasitic, not the girls themselves.
