Do you remember any of these?
PiPi Band - 안녕하세요. The first Korean Korean song that I kind of understood.
룰라 연인 (I always knew it as the 바보바보바보야 song.
Good old Fin.K.L (what the hell does Fin.K.L mean, anyway?)
Dj DOC (which all us whities pronounce as the short form of doctor).
And this classic from 한스 배드. Deride as you will, you have to admit it's a catchy tune.
*beep* me. I've been here too long... |

I believe it's "Fine Killing Liberty"
I only know about half of those, so I guess it means I'm only half the old-timer you are. |

Beaver, some of those songs are cool. The PiPi band reminds me a little bit of 'Frente!'
My favorite cheesy song is this:

I heard that they are booked to play at Skunk Hell next week |

And today, the girls in that video would be dressed up and dancing like strippers, and the guy would be all gangsta'd out... |

Not only do I know all those, but I have most of them on my mp3. But I have Pipi Band's "Babo bus" instead of "Hello."
Don't forget other classics like park mi kyung's, "Eve's Warning" or "Adam's Mind" and I loved JuJu club. Especially 1:1 |

The guitarist from Pipi is my husband's friend. We've had more than one occasion of him showing up at our door at 4 am absolutely wasted.
Very cool, open-minded guy though, and still seems to get recognized when we go out together. |

And holy hell, but there's a link to 주주클럽 - 열여섯 스물 on that page.
Shocking. |

I remember RuRa (RuLa?) doing their cover of "Hotel California".
I remember when there was no ARC card, but instead you had a little booklet you had to carry. And it wouldn't fit in your wallet.
I remember when I lived in Kunsan (my first city) that we had to go to Iksan to visit the imiigration office (not Jeonju). AND, it wasn't called Iksan back then, it was called "Iri".
I remeber Alex Buffa, Chuck and Rebecca and Uri Nara from "the old board".
I remember when the breathalizer was the driver breathing into a paper cup and then the police officer would sniff it.
I remember Mik Oh and the Bok Ji Corporation (recruiter - brought me over)...Any Mike Oh victim's out there?
I remember long line-uips at public phones when no ne had cell phones, just "Beepies" (B.P.s).
I remember dial-up internet (Kornet). |

I think you misread that with a rising intonation as in, "Dude?", whereas I wrote it with a falling intonation and a stressed syllable as in, "duuuude." |

Mike Oh, a chubby sleazy guy in a suit, based in an office somewhere near COEX? My first recruiter was a classic scum bag. |
