Yo The Dude. Can you fix my PM situation for me? Sorry to make multiple threads about it, but it's the only way to get ahold of you. |

alternatively you could "report" your own post and then the mods get notified.
It's strange that you have 152 posts but no pm priveleges |

OP: I sent you 2 private messages. I checked and they show as picked up and read by you. This means you received the private messages, opened them and presumably read them.
You have 152 posts so your pm function is working perfectly well. If it is not, then contact the admin of the site (Dave Sperling) via Email. |

Why is there a 25 message PM rule anyway? |

Just stay on this site a couple more weeks and you'll find out for yourself. |

Hmmmm.... I must admit that I have my own conjecture.
I figure that without the 25 PM floor, there would be too many sock puppets here spamming ESL Cafe members with everything from Viagra to bogus "Teach in Dubai" offers. Of course, the 25 PM floor does not eliminate the problem, but it does make it more costly in time and setup to propagate.
Are you going to just tell me the reason? |

There's a guy named Otis who drives trucks or something in New Orleans who loves to spam people about his site. Even after he's been banned he always registers a new name |
