You added the Korean keyboard to the list of keyboards?

and changed the unicode language it uses to Korean?

I'm having similar problems. I know how to change the non-unicode settings to Korean, but I want to have different settings for different users. I want my user account with English non-unicode and a second account with Korean. Is this possible in either XP or Vista (I have both installed)?
I've tried but I can't configure the accounts separately. Is it possible?

Just an update:

I found a Korean IME online in case you desperately need to type in Hangeul:

http://colspan.net/hangulime/

In the end I had to find an .iso of Windows XP from utorrent and use that when I went to install the East Asian language pack.

For anyone who does not have your Windows XP CDs and wants to install the language pack to type in Korean or Japanese, this is the least time-consuming way to do it.

So I type then press CTRL/SHFT then type some more?

I'm running vista this isn't working?

Down on my quick start bar there is an icon with a 'EN' in it I click that it changes to a 'KO' icon, I click the little keyboard looking icon beside the KO a bubble pops up I click thline that says microsoft IME, there is a chinese Character and an alpha character in the quick start bar now, I click the Alpha character it changes to a hangul character I click the keyboard again a keypad pops up and I can type using those or the keypad which isn't labeled for Korean so I don't know what I am typing so I use the pop-up keypad. Like this 안영하세요

Now I need to find keycaps for my keyboard.

You can use the mouse to change the settings, but it gets annoying fast. Assuming you've left the default key configurations, Left-Alt + Shift will switch between languages. However, since the Korean IME lets you type in English, it's usually easier to just have the Korean IME, or at least to set it as your default. Then you don't have problems about the keyboard layout switching to EN as default everytime you're in a new text field. If you tap the Right-Alt key it will switch between English (A) and Korean (가) with the Korean layout (this is essential the same thing the 한/영 key does on a Korean keyboard). If, after typing a word that can be converted to Chinese characters, you tap the Ctrl key (just the Right-Ctrl key, I think), a menu will pop up allowing you to choose from several (usually) Chinese characters that all match the Korean you typed (this is because one Korean syllable or word usually matches several different Chinese characters, so you have to know what you're after to choose the right one from the menu).
