| I start work in early March, and have just been given my visa issuance number for an E1. I'm going to head over to Fukuoka to get it processed - does anyone know if you can get an E1 done same-day or overnight? All the visa run info on here (while useful) seems to be mainly about E2s. |

In Fukuoka, you can generally drop off your passport and visa application in the morning and pick it up the following morning. |
