I'm looking for a good orthopedic doctor in Seoul. I specifically need a lateral knee specialist, but any recommendations would be appreciated! Thanks, Christine

Christine, your best bet is to go to Seoul University National Hospital in Seoul at Hyewha station or to Asan Hospital near Co-Ex. I have used both hospitals and they have a nurse that heads the "international clinic" ... bascially lining you up with English (or some) speaking doctors orhaving nurses who can translate. Especially if you require longer term therapy or surgery go there, forget the small private guys for those injuries

That is damn good advice and I wish I'd known it before I did my ligaments here a couple of years ago.

the ortopedic drs here in Kr are pretty much useless.i had a severe MCL strain that i diagnosed my self via the internet.saw 3 drs and they all insisted i take a MRI right away.any good dr should not have to solely rely on an MRI.i just ordered a MCL/ACL brace in the USA and my knee is coming along well.
