Finished portal. Loved all the one liners in this game.

Anyhow in level 18 you're required to do a number of inertia jumps to get up to the top platform and it took me several attempts to get everything right. At one point I was going up and down repeatedly and couldn't get my next portal shot onto the next platform for about 3 minutes. My stomach was getting queasy.

All I can say is this has got to be the greatest game ever made.

if you don't know what I'm talking about watch the youtube video, but this video makes it look easier than it is.

It's part of The Orange Box suite, isn't it? I had it briefly loaded before I re-installed for x64. A very slick puzzle-style thing. I enjoyed the few levels I played.

You obviously haven't played many games Smile

It's a GREAT puzzle game, but quite limited in scope. All you do is shoot blue and orange portals. It gets old...and yes, gets you very dizzy! Very Happy

Also leaves you with a strange craving for chocolate cake...

I bought Source but I don't have the Orange Box yet... I also don't have a credit card to buy it. Is there any other way to get Portal without getting the Orange Box? You know what I'm getting at.

Just in case... WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD PORTAL FOR FREE WITHOUT PAYING FOR IT? Thanks.

Portal was a fun game. Too short though. I wish after the complex with all the puzzles you would have got to break out and actually fight with it. That would be crazy fun.

Also, the normal game was way too easy thinking wise and slightly too twitch based for a puzzle game IMHO. Still, a good time, and rather funny as well. Loved the end song.
