A fingerprint check is not required. If your home state will do a name search, that's sufficient. Your first step should be to research the procedures for obtaining a criminal record check from the state police in your home state. Then it'll have to be authenticated, either by getting an apostille in your home state or a notarized affidavit at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul.
As for the medical check, it's apparently no big deal. Blood and urine tests, perhaps a chest x-ray to check for TB, etc. More info here: http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=113325 |
