Just say what you mean.
"Can I bring my 200 gigs of porn into the country"?
They are not going to check your laptop. Can you imagine the time it'd take to search every storage device? |

I wouldn't bring 2 big shampoos if I were you...there is a lot of shampoo and stuff available here. Unless you need a specific type or something.
Use the space/weight for goodies or spices or facial/beauty products. |

What spices are hard to find in Korea? Is Thyme, Basil, Bay Leaves, Garlic, oregano, rosemary and Saffron and cumin not available there? |

The only spices here are red pepper paste and garlic. I hope you enjoy the diversity of Korean cuisine. |

I have seen basil, bay leaves and oregano in the store. Garlic is everywhere, fresh and powdered.
You can buy a lot of spices at Costco, and it will depend on where you live. I bought rosemary from there.
I have never seen saffron, and I don't recall seeing cumin. I am glad I brought a nice little collection of spices. I would also recommend those sachets of special spices/mixes. I love having chili, taco, fajita, and other random mixes. |

If you like fresh basil, I would suggest that you bring your own seeds to grow your own. It grows quite well indoors and loves Korean hot and humid summers. |

good idea is to buy two bottles of booze at duty free.
fly into europe with them.
Then find out that because they are not in EU secured transparent bags that you now have to throw them away. Yes the 200 dollar bottle of whiskey you just bought has to go in the bin.
I kid yee not. |

thyme, dried basil, bay leaves, oregano, rosemary, garlic, all here. just go to a Lotte/Hyundai/Shinsegae department store. Saffron and Cummin, I've never seen in Korea, but there's a chance that there could be some in Itaewon. I also heard that there's fresh basil in Gyodae (교대), but I don't know if its true or not. |

When you go through immigration at the airport, they will either give you the choice of removing your brain yourself or they will offer to take it out when they install your new chip.
It may be just as easy to take it out yourself before you come and leave it in your country with someone you trust to return it to you. It won't be of much use to you here so don't worry about not being able to bring it with you.
A brain is one of the most difficult items to get into Korea (Koreans will spot anyone with a brain immediately) so I wouldn't risk trying to sneak it in. I have heard that some foreigners have been able to get their brain in by shoving their entire head up their ?&*! when going through immigration and then talking out their ?&*! to the immigration officials.
Good luck!
