New Tv show called Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. It's a pretty good watch if you are into that sort of thing. I saw advertising for it on Sky Life (might take them a few years to get it but I guess they will).

Already watched the first 4 episodes or maybe 5 - it's pretty good (better than the new flash gordon series) but it isn't a must watch yet. Hopefully scripting picks up.

I think the actor playing john conner is doing well, but the the actor for sarah conner doesn't work.

I like the way Sarah looks about 5 years older than her son. lol I saw 4-5 eps when I was back in Canada. Since it was on Mon night and nothing else was...it was a must watch there.

I've been watching. Around episode 4 I decided it was must-watch. I introduced it to my wife to the show and she was able to download subtitles.

It is odd how they don't seem to pay attention to aging people over the various time gaps. Also, nobody seems to notice John hasn't aged in 8 years.

The most glaring error seems to be Cameron being nice in the first episode in school, and being totally inhuman when going back to school later.

I'm a big fan of the first two movies and really trying to get into this show, but the story needs to pick up.

In the first episode the terminator stores a gun in his leg and has to cut it out with a knife. WTF? Keep it in your briefcase dude.

In one of the most recent episodes a terminator assaults a police officer in order to get arrested so he can terminate his target within the jail. Schwarzenegger wouldn't have gone through all that BS, he'd of just busted in shooting everyone on site like the bad ass killing machine he is.

I do like the new terminatrix though.

Yeah, that show's watchable for sure. I have it playing in the background when I'm doing crossword puzzles and whatnot. Not overly compelling, and it hasn't yet added a whole lot to the basic premise of the films, but it ain't half bad.

I like the terminatrette as well. She played the super-killer emotionally smashed psychic girl on 'firefly,' too--and she was not bad in that, either. She seems to do the 'essentially devoid of emotion killing-machine' quite well.

That's why they got her for the part. She kicked ass in Firefly/Serenity and she can fight. (for a chick)

Even if the police caught up with Sarah and John they wouldn't know who they are. The haven't aged much eh?

I'm certainly a fan of T2.

T1 is horribly dated with all those 80s hairdos (and music), but obviously a classic though not timeless.

I did enjoy T3 but didn't particularly like the guy who played John Connor. Some of his acting was just plain shiity I'm afraid. Mixed feelings about the girl terminator as well. She's hot as hell, but not very scary like T1000 was. Doesn't matter how advanced and barbaric she is, she's a hot sexy chick and getting horny detracts from the point, surely?

Anyway, I've never given the Sarah Connor show a chance.

One more thing about T2. It was a bit silly for T1000 not to kill Sarah at the end when he duplicated her.

I watched T2 again a week ago, and realised that the kid playing John Connor in that was way too dated also, what with the early '90s style and catch-phrases.

The TX in the third movie wasn't as frightening as she could have been, but I have to admit the girl in the TV show is doing well in the role.
