Since people are not playing by the rules and are just reproducing what is on a couple of other threads, there is no reason to continue this one.

The only thing close to Cheney in the Democratic party is Joe Biden.
Maybe Richard Clark?
Maybe Bill Cohen?
Maybe Carl levin?
Maybe Jim Cooper?
Maybe Jay Rockeffeller IV?
Maybe Silvestre Reyes? |

I think my hopes of an Obama/Wes Clark ticket have faded as the enmity has grown. It would have been great. Clark would shore up the south, the hawks, and the people who want 'experience'. It would have also healed the rift between the Clintons and Obama.
A governor makes sense, but it may be too limiting. Especially if you limit it to current governors. |

There is some stuff the Republican can use on Clark . He will not be the choice. |

I assume you mean Richard Clark? Yeah, I don't think he's an option. |

I think it's a bit early for speculation given the Democrats don't have a nominee. I do think that if Obama won the nomination, he'd needs someone with executive experience and/or military experience.
If Clinton were the nominee, I think she'd have a much easier time in some respect picking a runningmate given the fact her husband would have some role in her administration. Then again, it might be more difficult running with her given the fact the vp nominee would have to content with Bill Clinton advising her as well. |
