| I would suggest reporting it to the police, but how would they know it wasn't you that took the pics? Disturbing...even if it's their own kids, that's not a good thing. |

Sometimes newbees here (back in the day, myself included) purchase phones and don't know how to use the addtional functions, or don't bother. Imagine not knowing those pics were there and taking that phone back home with you (just so you had the numbers in it) and someone finding that.
You'd be in jail. |

| Hi - TY for the advice, the pics have been deleted. If I surrendered the phone, I'd be held and interrogated. I found the pics in class while the kids were pawing the new phone. |

Are they photos of babies or pre-pubs? If so, it's pretty normal. Since, it was on some guys old cell phone, I'd say it hasn't crossed the norms of Korean culture. But, not seeing the photos I can't be sure.
Koreans and Asians in general love taking photos of naked kids for the photo album. This includes an opened diaper with fresh yellow doodles. Try flipping through the photo album next time you're inside a Korean's home. You'll see tons of naked baby and kid pics. |

| Does that photo shop right outside the Itaewon subway station still have the big photo of the naked little boy, with his bits on display? |

There's one in the Yongjeon-dong HomePlus in Daejeon. Can't miss it as you take the moving walkway up from the basement. I'm sure the kid is old enough now to be totally embarrassed by it every time he passes by. |

Four years ago, I offered to buy it off of them to hang on the wall during big parties at my old place. I knew every expat who saw it would immediately know where it came from, and laugh.
The guy said no. |

If they're babies it's a cultural 'thing'. Many K-photographers display 'kiddie porn' in their shop windows as advertisement along with the portraits of adults/family and wedding pictures.
When K-parents have progeny - a son especially - they have to get a naked portrait done with his 'peanut' on display... to show everyone they've done their duty and the Han race won't die out. They have a male heir and the Kims/Parks/Lees/Choes are alive and well! |

Wow, so if a foreigner with a mixed-race Korean baby did that, it would be an insult to the Korean race?
(maybe a double-insult, given the size of the peanut??) |

| I don't see anything wrong with photos of naked babies. It's a shame that some people consider it 'kiddie porn.' If they are not in a sexualised context, what is wrong with it? I see my kids in their 'birthday suits' everyday, and they just look really innocent and beautiful. It could only appear sexual to the depraved. |
