|
|
Hello there,
I have been fortunate enough to land a uni job that seems to have quite nice working conditions. My timetable has me working 9 hours a week and giving me one day off, but of course I also have office hours.
One of the tasks I have to first complete is to choose a suitable textbook for "low-intermediate" students. I have never spoken to any of the students before but I have been told the general English level of students at the university is low.
My immediate reaction is something like "Talk talk." Very simple.
Any other ideas?
Many thanks,

For beginner level conversation classes, I have used:
Talk Your Head Off
Can You Believe It?
SLE1A and SLE1B |

| I like the interchange series. The amount of conversation is limited though. |
