Well, you can bet the french businessman was hittin' that, so maybe it was a mutual relationship of shallowness.
Though my family isn't rich, some of my dad's close friends have become very well off. They are all old dudes and have had numerous relationships with women much younger than them. Pretty much everyone is aware that the girls are with them because they have money- they can buy them nice things and take them on trips. If they didn't have the cash, these girls wouldn't be with them. Really, the guys know it, but they are fine with just having some fun for a while.
They've all been married & divorced- some a few times. Mostly, they are looking to have some fun and don't get too broken up when the relationship ends after a couple of years.
It's a mutual understanding:
-She gets supported and pampered
-He gets sex with an attractive, younger woman |

The funny thing about these women who get involved in these using relationships is they usually don't leave the guy until they find an opportunity to "trade up"- move on to a better/richer dude.
They don't work or they get their sugardaddies to bankroll some dream or project of theirs. It's like their job becomes "professional girlfriend".
I have seen several women choose this "profession".
Some might call it the world's oldest profession!

Well, according to 99.9% of Koreans, they all have such "hard lives" living outside of Korea amongst non-Koreans! |

How many times did they say she eats a lot?
She does look well-fed. |

-I know I think they were trying to show how she overcame being hungry. But it makes her sound like some sort of giant sea slug, roving to and fro in search of food, while learning swedish. |

guess she means that her biological mother left her becuase she couldnt afford to keep her so leaving her for someone else to pick up and care for would mean being adopted into a better home.. guess she wants to believe it that way! |

I don't see why you guys are trippin'.
She got married to some French dude, left him, and found love with someone else.
What's wrong with that? |

Am I missing something here? Whats the big deal? She was in NYT article and Chosun Ilbo introduced her and summarized what NYT wrote about. Moreover, they were not married. They were living together so when she left him, I hardly think that she got any money from him.
Let me ask you again, "How is she a gold-digger"?
