I was quoted 50k a session ...and there would be 3 sessions . This was for the bleach style rather than the laser type . I'm going in next week for the first session so I'll report back with result .

Also, Clarins whitening strips from HomePlus do wonders. Why pay a dentist so much to have your teeth bleached, especially since it can actually cause damage to your tooth enamel?

Hahahahaha

Those whiteneing strips are just bleach and will damage your tooth enamel also. Probably more so than dentist bleaching since most people don't do it properly at home. The only one that is truely safe is the lazer treatment.

Anyways, people with super-white unatural teeth look freaky.

The whitening procedure at our hospital's dental center costs about 500 -700 000 won. It generally requires four to five visits to complete. They use a wide range of treatments, including laser, to best suit the individual patient.
The procedure is cosmetic and not covered under National Health Insurance
If you'd like a referral send me a pm.

Yes, make sure you get your teeth cleaned before doing a whitening treatment. And home bleaching systems (like whitestrips) are often just as effective as in-chair treatments.

A cleaning or scaling is different. It costs about 50 000 won and requires only a single visit. It is also not covered under your national medical insurance.

Yes, very different. Cleaning (scaling) is when they scrape the crap off your teeth. Whitening just bleaches your teeth.
