I want to do some conventional fresh-water fishing and also to "take" some ducks from a river near my town.
Is there a season? Do I need a license? I would take the ducks by hook? Legal? |

I don't think you would be able to take ducks by hook (but i don't know). It just seems a bit wrong (but i am also a little against fishing). I have no problem shooting an animal and have done so many a time but a hook?
I did find this tho

looks like the hunting season is between november and feb with a limit of three birds per day, plus it looks like you need a license. |

Man, I really want to see the pictures of that! I can just see you whip the hook into a duck and reel it in. That for sure would get you on KBS. The mental image is enough to make me laugh. You would be more hated than English teachers.
I recommend fishing and duck hunting with dynamite
