Kuros, I'm sorry I kept you waiting. To be honest after looking at the articles I'm not sure what to say? I have a hard time accepting these kinds of psych evals when they aren't done by the person being evaluated. The woman who wrote the article seems to have gotten the correct results, but it just seems off to me. The same goes with Lincoln's evaluation. They are in effect guessing at what people would respond if they took the battery. I've taken the Meyers-Briggs, the full thing, five or six times. I was in TAG in school and they made us take it every other year for some reason. The results can change based on how you feel at a given time. For example, my insomnia is raging and I've been awake for 32 hours now. If I took the quickie after a good nights sleep I might get a different result than INFJ. In fact I'm sure I've switch Intro and Extro more than once, though the Intuitive is pretty consistent.
They were an interesting read, but I'm not sure what you were hoping I would take away from the articles. Did you note that Obama and Lincoln where similar in three out of the four categories?
Based on the quickie, here's me...

Interestingly the same as Jung himself. |

Have you read any of my posts? Of course I'm an idealist. A fairly rational one, but an idealist none the less.
I still don't agree with the assessment of Lincoln. But I do understand to an extent. I don't believe in having heroes so I seperate myself there. Maybe that make my interpretation more correct. |
