people, i have a question about a matter that has hit me out of the blue.
i am returning to korea to start working next week. i worked for one year and left korea with no intention of coming back so therefore claimed my pension back and received it.
however due to various reasons, i decided to return. my new job is at a uni therefore, i have to be paying pension. what's the deal? someone told me that i will have problems because i took the money last year. is this true? if so, what will they do? ask for it back?
please put my mind at ease!! |

Nothing will happen.
After two years in Korea (at the same job), I returned to Canada for one month (between jobs) and took my 'lump sum', two-years-worth of pension. I came back to a new job and my pension just started all over again from 'square one'. |
