people, i have a question about a matter that has hit me out of the blue.
i am returning to korea to start working next week. i worked for one year and left korea with no intention of coming back so therefore claimed my pension back and received it.
however due to various reasons, i decided to return. my new job is at a uni therefore, i have to be paying pension. what's the deal? someone told me that i will have problems because i took the money last year. is this true? if so, what will they do? ask for it back?
please put my mind at ease!!

Nothing will happen.

After two years in Korea (at the same job), I returned to Canada for one month (between jobs) and took my 'lump sum', two-years-worth of pension. I came back to a new job and my pension just started all over again from 'square one'.
