Why is it that when I use Firefox I can't view all images? About 75% come up and the other 25% are just white boxes; but if I use Explorer, no problemo.

And I know this may sound silly, but how can I download Firefox in English?

My Windows is Korean, and I guess because my region is Korea everytime I try to download Firefox it automatically goes to the Korean version.

I'm guessing something is funny in your settings, because I never have a problem viewing images in Firefox.

English (American):

Yeah I don't get any image problems with Firefox either.... I would check your Firefox settings or any plugin settings for plugins you have installed --- for example if you have a script blocker or an advertisement blocker it might possibly block images/macromedia flash that you want to see (though that can be bypassed in two clicks of a mouse).

Also, anything that is not IE sucks for Korean websites if that is what you are using it for. To counter this, there is a plugin for Firefox called "IE Tab" that allows you to open Internet Explorer as a tab inside Firefox

Thanks for the responses, but as my computer is completely Korean I can't actually check any of these things out. It's so annoying!!!! I'm not a computer genius by any means but I can usually figure things out; impossible in Korean.

Believe it does. I think you have to be running wine and maybe do some extra setup or something though.

Flame on, but I prefer to just use IE. Rather than download plugins and then have to use IE anyway at PC rooms, school etc, I'd rather use the same browser all the time and be used to it. I curse Firefox more when I try using it on the odd accasion than I ever curse IE during my hours of daily use.

I agree.

IE7 works just fine for me. All webpages load quickly and completely. No viruses.

IE7 was a big step up, as they stole a bunch of ideas from Firefox.

Still, firefox is better, and has hundreds of awesome plugins. You can get scripting plugins, weather plugins, dictionaries, 3d picture browsing, mouse gestures and tons more.
