I'm leaving Korea on the 5th of March. For the past couple of months I've been volunteer teaching North Korean students at a place in Kangnam. Now that I'm leaving I'd like to find someone to replace me. The students are usually around 20 or older. I have no need to tell you that one of my highlights in Korea has been to help these students and to get to know them and their experiences better.

If you're interested then you should know that the director of the program is flexible with times for you to teach. It's also customary to have dinner with the students afterwards.

Send me a personal message including:

1) First name, age, Korean phone number, location in Korea, email address, country of origin, and how long you have left in Korea and facebook profile if you're comfortable with that.

2) Anything else you think is relevant.

I care about these students so I ask for some of these things so that I can get a better idea about who you are.

Thanks,

Gary

Anyone looking for some background before teaching North Korean students should check out the very interesting classroom scenes from this PBS broadcast of the historic New York Philharmonic concert in Pyeongyang. A lot of other "behind-the-scenes" footage is included as well ...
