So I decided to spend my mini vacation in Busan, and have absolutely no clue what to do while I'm there.

I'm leaving now, but will be checking back for suggestions periodically.

Suggestions?
Ideas?

Will I get too bored and head for the Seoul Casinos?

I don't know websites around here but while you're here get a subway card (2000W) and charge it up. While you're in the subway, look at the various posters up for events. there are normally about 10+ posters even in the smaller stations. Some events might not be going on when you are there, but you might find something that interests you during your vacation time.

I guess I did have a website bookmarked. preselected for the calendar but that doesn't mean there aren't more things hidden in the website or things that will pop up.

Just got back from a couple days there. You can get a motel room near Haeundae beach for between 40,000 - 60,000 won, probably less if you go to one of the older places. There are scores and scores of motels there, so no need to worry about accommodation.

In that area there's of course Haeundae Beach. Dongbaek Island is a short walk away with nice views of the waterfront. Busan Aquarium is also on the beach and is worth a visit.

Check out this website for some siteseeing locations:

Fantastic!
Muchos Gracias.

The "Texas Street" area is getting kind of annoying, but I did find a hotel for 25 a night.
Basically just hookers and merchants looking to pwn military wallets...

I snuck into and up the UN memorial that's closed for construction, so my first day was as adventurous as I wanted it to be.Wink
