| What is your reaction to being stared at in public toilets? For the first few months I laughed at it - the casual glance over, and then the longer look, and the lean until I want to say "hey buddy, move over I can't see where I'm peeing." I told my Korean co-workers this and they thought it was hilarious until one of them watched it happen. Then they decided it was weird and rude. Mostly it's harmless curiosity, sometimes I want to return the investigation to see how the guy will react, and sometimes I want to turn to them mid-stream and ask if I can help them. I must say most people are polite and, so far, I've only chuckled when this happens. How do you guys react? |

I tell them: "Take a picture. It lasts longer."
Then when they get out their camera-phones I say "Dude, I was just kidding!" |

I only have it happen to me in public bath houses.
Once I went with my brother in law, before we got marrieds. After the wedding night my father in law called my wife to ask whether it was "painful".

| Actually, it's when I make eye contact that it's a little embarressing - like if I don't catch them at it it's not weird for either of us. |

| I wonder if this stems from the stereotype that Asian people have small pp's... so it probably got back to Korea/Asians and Korean people wanna know how they really size up. |

Always thought it would be funny to have some big long hose that I dropped down, just to see the shock on their faces.
Well, I guess I don't really need that.... |

Whadda mean "turn". A guy was facing a urinal next to me and STILL managed to piss directly on my shoe! I was so angry that for the rest of the time I gave him the evil eye while he kept his eyes closed (probably praying to Buddha) and ran out the door.
Japan Sparkling....
I still don't know how in the the land of Dai Nippon he managed to do that. I shoulda gone all Toshiro Mifune on his ass. |

Best see that it don't. My kung pow karate chop to the throat can be pretty lethal. One minute you're standing at a urinal and the next layed out cold at the feet of a dozen Japanese men in business suits walking over you and acting like nothing happened. |

why all this angst over a bit of watersports? some people actually enjoy it....
but the bit about the business men kinda scares me! |

| It's one of those crazy quirks about Asia. A number of men don't mind the all too obvious peek at your willy but won't give a fella in trouble a second glance. I think next time I'll whip out my cell phone instead when I'm standing at a urinal and if a guy bends over to take a look, I'll take a picture. |

I feel sorry for them and the blow to their pride it must be to see my 8-inch, single barrel, pump action handgun. |
