I need to buy a suit. Don't really want to spend loads and don't want one of those sicko shiny silver suits that K's where!

Can anyone suggest a good place?

No idea where you are fella!!! Perhaps if you popped your location on the board then you'll get the help required. I bought a suit recently and it cost me 150,000 won due to the store recently opening. There are lots of suits that are not shiny and I don't live in Seoul or any of the other 'major' cities. So, you should have no probs.

Best of luck fella

Go to Songnae Station, get on the 1 line and get off at Gasan Digital Complex. Go to the outlets there. EVERYTHING is on sale. 50-70% off, some places even 90% off, it's ridiculous.

Hurry, these prices won't last long!

My advice is to buy a suit for around 200,000 won then go to a good tailor to get it altered to your body. Plenty of outlets abound, including at Kasan.

I was just in Bucheon last night. There are loads of places there as well that sell suits. You need to get out and look. Everywhere i have seen sells suits on sale now because it is the end of the season and they have to sell everything to make room for the spring wear. I would wait another week or two then they might just sell everything at 90% off.

Home TV shopping.

three suits for (I swear to God) 180,000 and a "service'ah" overcoat.

after the cost of alterations, maybe $250,000.

I am also looking for a suit. I don't mind paying a little more for quality. Can anyone suggest a good tailor? I live in Wonju, but could conveniently get one in Seoul as well. Thanks!

If it quality you are looking for and are not concerned about price, I would recommend Hahn's Custom Tailoring Co in Itaewon. I recently purchased a pure wool mid weight cloth suit with extra trousers. The workmanship is very good and price was 600,000. I consider that well priced compared to what I would pay in Australia for a suit of similar quality.
