Here's another permutation....
Using Firefox..
Using IE...
IE may be more prone to virui than Firefox..........but most of the internet is still programmed to work with it. And faster too.
BTW, I repeated the tests 3 times. IE won every time.
An update from IE....

I almost doubled my previous speed and I still can't beat Demo. Alas! How can I live with such a slow connection?

Best of about 8 tests over the last week. Usually around 75mb.
Surprisingly when I did a test on a different pc using the same internet conn the download was only 24mb, but the upload was 11mb. |

I use Hanaro Telecom:
Old service I got 6151 kb/s download and 650 kb/s upload.
Guy came and put a new cable modem in, now:
22613 kb/s download and 12365 kb/s upload.
Pretty impressive what one modem can do. |

? I thought it was because they had fibre outside.
They initially were going to do 100Mbit wiring, but guess they figured it was easier just to put a 80Mbit modem on.... |

Nope...the internet a series of tubes. Big tubes mean more stuff can go through. |

IE 7: 4621 down, 2008 up.
2nd test using Okinawa pyramid
Firefox 2.x: 2462 down, 362 up
IE 7: 1746 down, 628 up
3rd test using Shenzen pyramid
