Man, my wife is MAD. These speakers did not come with a receiver (I thought they did). Now, she thinks they are ugly. I paid $100 for them. I will take $80 (the price includes shipping to you) for them. Please help me out.

Me.

You thought you'd get speakers and a receiver for $100?

Go see Costco for some deals.

You can get speakers and a reciever for 100, they'll just be crappy speakers.

It's not. It'll sound ok for the average joe, but nothing to write home to mom about.

I meant for watching TV, not mixing an album.

Which reminds me, don't ever use your 500W PA as a home theatre sound system..........unless you want to invite the whole building over.

So i am assuming that you need to have a receiver to make use or these speakers. I just might be interested in them. A receiver wouldn't be that much extra. but I might have the same problem with my wife thinking they are ugly.

you have to admit they are not the most attractive speakers in the world. We just moved into a new apartment and we do want things to look good. But the price is okay for those speakers.
