I know people order stuff online - used to I'd have someone from the u.s. ship it to me because so many stores wouldn't do intl shipping
but that's changing - a lot of them will now
I had some issues tho once and heard anything w/a label pricing it over $150 is subject to customs charges - maybe 10%?
anyone have any recent experience ordering stuff and having it shipped directly here? clothing, shoes, victoria's secret |

I'm waiting for a Heart Rate Monitor I ordered from Canada to arrive. In Korea it costs over 400,000...Canada $177!
I'm expecting there will probably be a customs charge but I have received goods before that I ordered on-line without any customs fees or duties.
I think as long as you are not importing it for resale and will take it with you when you leave you can get a refund of the duties paid, but that's just hearsay. |

all the time. As you've heard keep it under 150 and you should avoid customs charges fine. also try to use websites that charge a flat rate for intl shipping (I know victoria's secret and landsend do for example) because that'll often be a better deal than ones that charge by the pound and go up ridiculously each time you add another item. |

well I need to order some shoes - and they are over 150 for one pair - and some computer software - will add up - especially the software is what I'm mostly worried about -
I guess I'll call them Monday and see what they say.. |

be aware most places like amazon etc WONT ship software internationally due to licensing regs. best bet is to have it shipped to a friend in NA, then have them take off the tags etc and ship it on to you marked "used" |

| About 8 months ago, I received my order from from Victoria's Secret for $164 (just merchandise, not incl. postage). I can't remember exactly what I paid because what the guy at customs told me over the phone and what I actually paid differed a bit so the discrepancy has made my memory a bit murky. But I paid somewhere between 28,000-32,000 won. |
