I would question why Hitler was telling it.
Counterpunch and JPCRoberts deserve what was said about them.
They are supporters of the enemy.
Liberals don't support the enemy , many left wingers don't but counterpunch supports the enemy.
Stillnotking you ought to be objective to enough to call out some on the far left for what they are.
You don't see me defending Ann Coulter and counterpunch is more extreme than she is.

I'm not defending Counterpunch, because I don't have to. If you want to shoot the messenger, go right ahead, and meanwhile the rest of us can talk about the story.
Personally I think this reflects a general Bush administration drive to get rid of Democratic officials, as in the related U.S. attorney scandal. Turns out the comparisons between the Bush and Nixon White Houses may have been uncharitable to Nixon. |

I'm sure if I researched counterpunch there would be a lot that I wouldn't agree with. You see....that's called being rational and open. To dismiss the value of the story originally mentioned merely because of it's source is silly. The gist of the op was how this man's prosecution seemed to be politcally motivated. A fair amount of people protesting his imprisonement are actually Republicans. You discount/ignore the op's entire point by citing the source and not the article itself. You truly are a toll. That's enough from me. |

People only have so much time and counterpunch is not worthy of any respect. |

Well, I can certainly understand why the Demento Crowd would question the value of anything that a former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury in the Reagan administration and a former Associate Editor of the Wall Street Journal editorial page and Contributing Editor of National Review (Roberts was all of these) would have to say and rush right into one of their favorite games called Sh-oot-the-Messenger (as in ad hominem or considering some of the sources I guess you might say ad simian attacks meant to ignore and disparage the message altogether; ain't the truth a real biatch though?   ).
