Does anyone know where the closest e-mart, homeplus, etc is to Janghanpyeong?

There's not much here in those terms, just a small department store. Any help would be appreciated.

The nearest HomePlus to that area is next to Dongdaemun Gu-cheong.

Try Jegi-dong (1) or Yongdu (2 but a weird part of it).

You could take Line 5 to Majang Station and it is about a 10 minute walk from there. Otherwise, it is directly above one of the Line 2 spur stations, Yongduam Station.

Dogbert and Racetraitor,

Many thanks. Despite some of the quirkiness of some of the members here at Daves, helpful people like yourselves always make Dave's an invaluable resource. Very Happy

I also live in Janghanpyong, you can take Bus # 2233 going to Oksudong then get off at Chegidong, from there you can walk about 10-15 min to Homeplus next to Dongdaemun-gu office..or if you want to take another bus at Chegidong.. across the street from where you get off, take bus 0013 only 2 bus stops away and presto you are in Homeplus.. Cool

another option is to take a cab and it costs less than W5000...HAPPY SHOPPING Rolling Eyes
