I disagree. He has criticized Hillary plenty, especially in the run-up to Iowa. And he's well on his way to criticizing McCain.

This is not necessarily a bad thing, and Obama has not run a comparatively negative campaign. But, 'an unremittingly positive campaign?' C'mon.

The more you attack Hillary, the less I'm motivated to vote for Barack in the General.

Why?

I'm human.

I'll probably vote Obama anyway, but seriously, M-Dave has commenced personal attack after personal attack against me for supporting Hillary against Barack. The only thing he hasn't accused me of is being racist (although I was accused of that on this board as well).

Yeah, it is a bit strange that you two have been fighting that much since you would probably vote for the same people when it comes down to it. I just found it a bit odd to suggest that you might change your voting preference based on that. I don't think I could vote for anybody if I couldn't vote for anybody that was supported by someone on the board that annoyed me.

On the other hand, I do understand where that comes from. I remember may back in the Michigan primaries on the Ron Paul Forums where Ron Paul supporters were campaigning for Barack Obama voters (since they couldn't vote for him) and some of them were making posters about how Barack Obama isn't an honest politician, blah blah blah. *slaps head* that's not how you get a person's vote, by disparaging their candidate. Luckily more people clued in to this and made posters showing their similarities instead of trying to trash Barack Obama.

My friends support Obama. Almost all of them do. Although some of them are less enthusiastic now that some of the other candidates have withdrawn.

One of my friends is frustrated that both Obama and Clinton are identical on the issues. He wants a better choice.

Edit: Here's something on topic: Rage of a privileged class.

The Crunchy Con tees up, and Ross Douthat follows.

Quote:
Obama belittled the idea that the Clinton years were ones of opportunity and prosperity: The life that Im talking about that most people are living has gotten progressively worse since I was a little girl. . . . So if you want to pretend like there was some point over the last couple of decades when your lives were easy, I want to meet you!

Phony. A Princeton-and-Harvard-educated, $400,000 a year phony, whining about her privilege.
