Here is my dilemma:
My E-2 will expire on August 7th. My boss wants me to stay for two weeks after that period, since my contract will end then. (it was a timing issue on both ends)
My question is whether I should extend for a 30-day vacation extension, working illegally?
Or an extension for work, which I think is 3 months?
The thing that I am concerned about is jumping through hoops with the new regulations of a medical check / background check, etc... just for two weeks, since I need to finish contractually for the full year. Keeping in mind that I would have to go through those hoops, I'm just assuming so.
Can anyone help? |
