Well, I've been working with at least 5 different recruiters, and even though I keep emailing now and then to ask if they have any new positions in Busan I am not getting much back. With the new visa regulations I can't come to Korea to do my own search, but perhaps I can try to research from here!
I've heard that there are many hagwons in Haeundae - for those of you who live in the area, can you give me any leads? names, websites, email addresses? if you don't want to post details here, feel free to PM me!
Just to give you an idea, I am a recent graduate from Canada with a B.A. Honours English degree, a TEFL certificate, and some insignificant volunteer-type teaching experience. I've also lived overseas.
Thanks for your help!! And I'm not totally set on Haeundae - if you know of other decent places to work in Busan, please let me know. |

I am guessing that most of the better schools in an area like Haeundae, where rich people are and foreigners want to live, already have a teacher. We're already past the start date, anyway.
The recruiters probably want to push you into another school, as happened to another recently:

start date? I thought that hagwons hired all year long. I am flexible, within about 3 months, of when I would begin teaching.
If you know of some reputable schools in Haeundae, or Busan in general, please PM me - I'm eager to send out more resumes
Cheers! |
