Severence pay is a worker's right in law. It's not a 'completion bonus.' |

To the OP. You should place a thread on the EFL Blacklist website about this after school program at www.worldpiece.net. |

I'm working for a school in Ilsan, and my best friend was supposed to be working for one of their (ASN) schools too, but they have said the program is canceled at said school so he has to working in shithole Osan.
I rang them up and went nuts saying, "That's why we signed up at this organistion, to work together in Ilsan"
All this situation has taught me is to be bitter and to never trust a Korean.
I'm trying to rectify the situation, but the best thing to do is just fly home now I guess. A bunch of fuckers are ASN. I;m blacklisting them. |

Severence pay is only a right to those paying into the national pension scheme. Those who pay into private pensions (such as at many unis) are not entitled to severence by law, and is contractual only. Hence, the term "completion bonus" can be used in some jobs. |

what about the whole double bank account scam? Having to get a bank account and then giving it over to the company? I know it is probably illegal...just wondering if it has caused anyone problems? |

I have been working at an after school program through ASN for 4 months now, and it is great. I never had to set up anything illegal and my apartment is awesome, not to mention they went out and bought everything for me the first day (pots, pans, utensils, bed sheets, comforters, etc. ) I got here. They are always there when I need something, hopefully this keeps up!
This worries me a lot though. The management I work with are all different now too. |
