As in famous people (not the wondergirls or big bang)?

I'm putting together a middle school lesson and just need a bunch of names of different famous people (Korean or non-Korean) that students will recognize. I don't keep up much with pop-culture so any help will be much obliged.

Fedor Emelianenko
ex-Pride fighter, now M-1. I work at a boys middle school and there isn't one student who hasn't heard of him. I imagine girls here have too. He does a bit of promotion here in Korea.

The boys all seem to be in to WWE, so try John Cena, Rey Misterio, Batista, and of course, The Undertaker.

Lee Myeong Bak and Ban Ki Moon.

FT Island and So Nyuh Si Dae (Girls Generation in English) are probably the two most popular pop groups right now.

Well, I talk about Shakespeare when I'm covering the verb, 'to be,' and tell them that the most famous quote in the English language contains that verb.
