-I see people who claim to make more than 2.5 working in Korea. HOW AND WHERE? The university jobs are posting 2.1 for 20 hours a week. Isn't that the same as public school? And who would show up with an MA and experience for as much money as a FOB hogwon jockey?
-Is it true that Korea wages are really going down? I just got into this and wanted to go get an MA in a few years, and come back and try Uni work, but this doesn't look so good.
-At the same time I hear all this money for 'extra' classes, but education is a hard job and you time to plan, sleep, eat, and recover. I have 4 back to back elementry classes today...all with over 25 kids! agh.
-So where is the money, now that privates are illegal, in Korea? |

Those are the ones you see. They are the crappy one. That's why they have to go to Dave's to get teachers. A good uni job is like gold. Highly sought after and traded. |

...and usually based (or heavily weighed) on recommendations from current staff. |

2.5 is middle-range at best for a uni job.
The better ones are over 3.0. |
