My recruiter for GEPIK just told me I need to get a criminal background check within Korea for the time I have been in Korea. Do you know if this is true, and if so, is there a specific police station in Seoul that I need to go to for it (and how to get there) ?
thanks |

I had to get one for my EPIC job because I had been in Korea for two years. It only took about ten minutes at the main police station of my town (they don't do it at the small, neighbourhood 'satellite' stations) and was free.
Sorry, I can't tell you where to go in Seoul. |

I have been in Korea for over ten years, but the Immigration Office in Seoul told me that I must now get a CRC application processed through a Canadian federal or provincial law enforcement agency, if I want to apply for a new position, since I'm not a Korean citizen. |

Oh well, then don't apply for a new job if you don't like it. |
