Well i have been in contact with a few recruiters and offered some jobs. Nearly all of the jobs neglect any mention to pension. On top of that, some recruiters tell me that the size of the hagwon determines if they can scoot through a loophole and avoid pension all together. I know that by law pension is supposed to be paid but not paying seems to be the norm now ,from the offers, as opposed to the exception. Confused

If they don't put it in the contract and you are signing with a hagwon you can expect to be cheated on the pension AND probably on your medical as well (because NHIC medical will flag you for pension benefits).

I would also have a hard look at the tax clause because you can expect to be cheated there as well (tax is NOT a flat 3.3% but is on a sliding scale and is about 1.6% on a salary of 2.1 million).
