shove a pen into the fan that cools the motherboard and in 30 seconds or less, problem solved! i discovered this while dealing with a noisy CPU last year:

"Ahhhhh... Sweet sweet silence. What's that smell? Ummmm, probably SHOULDN'T have done that..."

p.s. destroying things (esp crappy computers) is one of the true joys in life

Flash the Bios, best way... almost undetectable from an uniformed or highly intelligent in a computer sense view.

Now if it was software... I would end the svchost.exe permanently that will *beep* up your comp nicely.

Quote:
The alternative is boot from the CD, remove the old partition, reformat and install a new copy of the O/S of your choice.

It will certainly add 30% to your apparent operating speed as well as clean out the crap and old active X components that are dragging it into the mud.

Do this process a few times too... and definately overclock it. but make sure you have a smoke and fire alarm in working order just incase your back is turned.

Most good PC techs will see tha problem with the bios pretty quickly, simple pull the battery the bios goes back to default settings and original .
version, then they just flash the bios with the OEM updates.

The partitions and stuff are all rather transparent too, the tech just formats and rebuild the OS.

Smoke the CPU or the power supply these are the only rational option.

I plan on implementing this soon. However, I found out the tech guy at my school is on vacation for a few weeks so if I smoke this computer, it'll be a while before I get anything to replace it.

Take a small pair of tweezers or pliers & 'cut' one of the pins on the chips on the board, or scratch one till the metal line is broken.

Problem solved.

go for static electricity bro. the great thing about this is that it sometimes the problems wont be apparent immediately so in the long run when the computer guy comes back, the problems will be more clear.

plus, it is pretty hard to trace any sense of intentional sabotage

EDIT: ohh and pkang, did you ever reply to my message? the reason im wondering is that ever since i had my eslcafe account reverified im wondering if im having problems receiving PMs
