|
|
I'm running low on cash, so I wanted to exchange most/all of the four hundred pounds sterling I have in traveller's cheques, but at Hana Bank (of which I am a member) I just got told no, with the cashier indicating something on the calendar for next month.
I can't leave my school during lunch without a huge pain in the ass involving finding my principal and VP and getting their signature, and banks close at the weekend. Is there anywhere else I can go to exchange them for won?
Just please don't tell me I'm going to have to drive out to bloody Incheon airport or something. |

i just went to exchange some traveller's cheques (american money) on my lunch hour.
i went to Woori bank, i dont even have a bank account there, but i just showed my passport and they exchanged it right away. it took a little while for them to fill out some paperwork, but i walked out with korean currency.
just go to any other bank, try Woori. otherwise i dont know how you can exchange it, but your director should allow you to leave for a bit. i was in the same situation, running very low on cash (first month is harsh).
good luck. |
