Hi all,
If any of the board experts may be able to please answer...
Are SMOE/GEPIK/EPIK winter/summer camps held at the school.... or away, somewhere out of town?
the reason i need a clarification is that I run an internet business which means i need to be on the internet daily. doing camps at the actual school is not a problem for me.
but if the camp is more like an adventure camp being out in the woods, staying in log cabins, doing forest activities - abseiling / water sports / ropes course - then yes that will be a problem for me.
if the camps are out of town, is it likely there will be internet access available at the camp? by this i don't mean a quick 15minute stint on 1 computer that is for use for all the students and teachers....what i mean is quality time on my OWN computer where i can spend an 1-2hours uninterrupted in peace and quiet.
thank you in advance for any responses

It depends. Some are held at the school (mine are) and some apparently are held at other places.
I'd check with your school and see what they are doing. |

They are not camps as in camping out. If you do a sleepaway camp, you will be at a university or somewhere with classrooms and Internet. But be sure to ask before you go. |
