I've heard that the Chosun Westin had a St. Paddy's day event last year. 30k won from 7-12, free booze and food. Is that the case again this year? I can't find anything definitive. |

Someone mentioned it to me, but I'm more likely going to be in Wolfgang's Irish Bar in Itaewon, admiring the paper shamrocks and eating chips. |

They do St. Paddy's stuff, but I don't know the details. There was lots of food and booze.
Last time I went, it was crowded as shits, shorts, and shoot. Was hard to get a drink.
(PS - love the new censor) |

I just called the Westin Chosun Hotel, and a staff member told me O'Kim's is under construction, so I guess no St. Patrick's Day celebration this year. |

Buck Mulligan's was an okay substitute. Of course, I went like 6 years ago, but still. |

Westin was alright last year, but yeah way too packed to fully enjoy it, could barely move and had to wait up to 30 mins usually to get a drink.
Any idea on what the food will be at Buck Mulligan's? Full buffet or just snacks? Should be decent for 50,000, I'm guessing.
Is it a big area?
Also, I saw in a Seoul music mag that the Big Rock brewery is holding a lunch buffet for 9,900won. Anyone with info on this, or where it's located?
Thanks. |

Full buffet (in 2001). Mashed potatoes, soda bread, all that stuff that made my Irish roomie flip out. Bar seemed big enough; didn't draw a massive crowd, but it wasn't empty either, and you had room to ddongchim waitresses and all. |

The food is not high quality at Buck Mulligans and way over priced (as it is in the business/hotel rip off orientated seoul finance centre).
The bar quite a large space, has a stage area etc, usually pretty empty.
drinks are expensive there usually,so could be a bargain for the capped all you can drink GUINESS,but certainly not for their food ! |
