Exhaustive Review Finds No Link Between Saddam & al Qaida
By Warren P. Strobel, McClatchy Newspapers
Mon Mar 10, 7:08 PM ET
WASHINGTON An exhaustive review of more than 600,000 Iraqi documents that were captured after the 2003 U.S. invasion has found no evidence that Saddam Hussein's regime had any operational links with Osama bin Laden's al Qaida terrorist network.

No the contact in your picture is in many ways like this contact.
and here is some backround info on that contact
What do you think the reason Saddam's Iraq and Al Qaeda had contacts. I bet it wasn't to do something nice. |

Hey, that never happened. It didn't happen because at the time Saddam was the lesser of two evils (for us) It also isn't a justification for Iranians to have different political goals than us. I mean really, why do they hate us? Just because the US and other western countries backed a war mongering maniac in a war of aggression against them? Damn them Iranians are touchy people. |

Contacts? What the hell is that supposed to mean?
Were they working together? How did Sadam's contacts with Al quida differ from the Saudi royal family? |

Hey the US had nothing to do with Saddam going after Iran.
But forgive the US for being anti Iran I mean Iran was blowing up US marine barricks and trying to export their revolution and conquer the mideast.
Here is the low down.Khomeni followers , Al Qaedists and Bathists are all fascist bigots. No different than the Klan.
Are they evil ? Let me answer with a question is the Klan evil.
They don't have a right to their war which they have to stop if they don't want to stop then anything and everything the US does or can do is ok to force them
Now stop distorting history and apologizing for the regime in Iran you moonbat. |

I don't know. Ask the 9-11 commission.

I think the US has some legitimate business with the royal family , but if Saddam was in contact with Al Qaeda it probably -almost surely was to do something bad. |

You label me a moonbat, thats your right. I don't apologize for the Iranian regime. I would be happier than a pig in shit if it were to cave in on itself this very moment.
Where you and I differ is your ability to simply ignore the realities of what the people of iran/a large majority of the world's population believe. Your spouting off of "they don't have a right to their war" has to be the most ridiculous lines of reasoning I have ever come across.
There exists, in this world, different realities. Simply acknowledging another persons' reality is not being apologetic. What is the outcome of your particular line of reasoning Joo? Capitulation (ridiculous because they are not even attacking us) or war, instigated by us. Get this straight, like the regime or not. The Iranian regime is doing NOTHING that western, asian, or african regimes have not done in the past when other powers have infringed upon their areas of interest. You call it apologizing, I call it stating a mere fact.
You know, when I was a kid I studied Karate. I thought I was a pretty tough shit and wouldn't shy away from anyone. Most of the time I was just sticking up for people but I'm sure there were some who thought I was just picking fights for the sake of it. One day, this quite overweight kid Billy picked a fight with me. I had nothing against him, he had done me no wrong, but there was no way to avoid the fight.
After dropping him to ground with a swift kick to the side of his face, I proceeded to turn around and was suddenly confronted by the biggest guy in school, Jason Harrington.
Now is his mind I was just some punk that had used karate to beat the shit out of some fat kid after school. Long story short, he proceeded to beat the shit out of me for a good 30 minutes. This is the day I learned that perceptions matter.
I could have gone on and on that the fight wasn't my fault, that I really was a good guy. Or, I could simply stop walking around the school like I was king shit. While the first option may have been good for my ego, It certainly wouldn't have been good for my face. |
