Is there any need to go to immigration for this? Would I need to report to the tax office, or would that be handled by the employer/agency? (yeah, fat chance, I bet... anyone know?)

Who knows, but immigration probably has a leash for your Korean employer to keep complete control of you while you are doing something other than teaching English Smile

How do you go about reporting taxes for something like that?

If it is anything like elsewhere it would be considered self employment keep a reciept of everything you buy with these earnings even clothes or meals and these can be considered a business expense at least thats what I do in the UK. as for the Visa implications im not so sure.

Is lecturing over the (webcam) internet considered teaching?

It will be based (Produced) in the school where I am employed and
viewed in schools where I am not employed.

If it's a relatively legit agency, they'll take a copy of your ARC and report the income to the tax office. It'll show up on the end of the year reports.

(most don't do that though)

For tutoring/other employments it is a matter of filing the proper forms with the tax office. If you operate a business, they should send you out the forms to complete 4 times each year. You can find some of the forms on the Korean tax website, but my book is at home, so I will have to list the link a little later when I go home.

It's not immigration's job to make sure you pay your taxes, that's the tax office's. Immigration is no longer involved with respect to the employment of F-visa holders. They don't care what you do for work. Just pay your taxes at the end of the year like everyone else & all is good.

Immi is a non-issue in ALL employment of F-visa holders.
