On the street going up to the Hyatt in Itaewan I always pass a bar called Nabi Bar? Anyone know this bar? Is it foreign friendly? What type of bar is it? Thanks

Nabi means butterfly in Korean, which seems like a suggestive name to me.

I went there a month or so back. It's definitely foreigner friendly. The owner speaks exceptional English and she seems to be trying to attract an expat crowd there. Although, when I went it was 50% expat/Korean. They serve the usual kind of liquid refreshments, beer and what not. The cocktails are especially good - quite cheap and very strong.

Haven't been to Nabi in Hongdae. It doesn't have a pond, though. When I went there they had an area out the back with cushions and low tables where you had to remove your shoes and could lounge about. But, I heard that it's been changed since I went, more tables and chairs.

It's at the bottom end of the Kyungnidan road, just pass the Wellbeing Mart and before the Big Bread Bakery on the right.

From what I remember. As you're walking down the road with GoGo's on your right there is a left turn opposite walk down there about 30-40 metres and it's on your left. It's downstairs. It's a bit hard to find.

They do have a pond, because there seemed to be plenty of people nearly falling in. Relaxed though!

Dome Vans,

You're thinking of the Nabi Bar in Hongdae. I heard that one has a pond. The Itaewon Nabi Bar definitely doesn't have a pond, unless they put one in in the last month.
