I think you have some serious issue of being an @ss kisser. I bet you do think all Koreans love foreigners, that they would never take advantage of us, and also foreign teachers are at fault for violations for contracts and laws by the schools.

Seriously man, you must be a big @ss kisser.

Anyway, I was trying to be funny but you had to go and make it serious.

Now you're accusing me of being gay because I pointed out that you are an idiot?

I have no problem with gay people, but it seems that you do. Additionally, you are all worked up about pedophiles, as you keep accusing others of being child rapists and child-rapist sympathizers.

I sincerely hope you don't work around children, and that's no joke.

(He's trolling, I know. Nobody can be this f'ed up and still be free to run around, right? I hope?)

Mine, though limited, was errm, colorful to say the least. I'm not sure if it was the worst, as it turned out to be a bit of a favorite drinking story for the lads on my footie team. Anyhoo, one night I was doing this chick who worked at the local Walmart (back when we still had them in Korea), when two of my mates broke in through the window of my first floor apartment, drunk as lords. The girl sprang into the bathroom and wouldn't come out. My mate asked if he could try to coax her back into the room, and subsequently ended up getting a blow job from her and spilling his baby gravy all over her face. She left and I went out for drinks with the boys and had a delightful time laughing at my friend for taking my sloppy seconds. I never dated another Korean girl after that.

Not a really terrible story, but a lame and memorable date, nonetheless.

I was set up with this girl by a Korean (ex) friend. She was just so-so looking. While we were having dinner, she proceeded to tell me that she loved musicals. She LOVED musicals. She had seen CATS live over thirty times!!! She had even traveled to NY twice just to see CATS live on Broadway!!

She then went on and talked about the musical CATS up until the point when I was able to tactfully extricate myself and go meet up with my buddies. There goes an hour of my life I wish I could have back.

CATS!!

So korean women are whoring themselves out for language lessons ? The myths keep coming . Oh no doubt some Korean women are validating their whoring with this as an excuse , but really folks !!

Oh, so by your logic they are just whores and use English as a fake excuse to explain their whoring. How could I have been so rude?

I think it is more than just English though. It is the whole forbidden fruit, make your parents angry thing. Some girls in every country like to date someone their parents wouldnt approve of, at some stage of their life.

I dunno. I had quite a few chicks date me in Korea and in the end it seemed that language lessons were all they were after. Koreans are wierd really. It's difficult to say what's going though their minds at any moment. It never seems to register with them all the implications of dating someone just to get English practice cause lots of them do it. I'm sure like any females they could be manuevered into a more intimate arrangement but to me it seems like lots of needless work. There's plenty of ladies out there that will date you because they WANT to date you. Maybe not as much with Koreans but there are others here from all over.
And yes I a sure there's lots of girls that are into the whole rebellion thing just like in our country where you can find hot girls dating complete wasted tools with no future.

To the first part I am specifically talking about a thread where some prostitute explained away her work as trying to pay for English lessons for her kids . B#llocks . Even crazier is the idea that someone is having sex with you because they are hoping to pick up some language .

As to the second part there is no doubt that some of that comes into play . Not just the parents , but maybe also oppressive korean ex boyfriends/husbands etc . Now you are coming closer to a motive that might be held by a human being .

I've met enough Koreans who just wanted free English lessons. It didn't get more obvious than, "Oh, I want to practice my English-e; let's be friends." Yes, people have actually said that to me.

I met this rich kid (well, man), who spent his middle and high school years in America. His English was perfect, and he definitely didn't need the help. My old coworker and I were glad to have him as a friend. We knew that he wasn't after us for anything. But then things changed. This guy, let's call him "Kim," was big into networking with people. Suddenly, Kim became the guy with connections; he had English friends. And he would constantly ask us if we would like to help one of his friends or one of his friend's friends, etc. It got old, fast.

Those sounds like obvious cases of people wanting to practice their English . Where exactly should I take the logical leap to assume this relates to dating ?

Also have you noticed that Koreans are shy ? Do you think it's beyond belief that she was using "practice English" as a validation for why she wanted to hang with you , and might have had ulterior motives ?

I don't get you people....all Korean have ulterior motives in your opinions , unless they tell you something that backs up your strange paranoid beliefs , and then they are "honest" .

Pull yourselves together .

I enjoy telling these people, specifically a couple of Korean teachers that I cannot help them with their English lessons because it would be illegal-a hogwan could help.
