I did not say I "work" 8 hours a day. I'm just on campus for that time. Actual working hours, 2 or 3, maybe. Don't knock it if you haven't tried it. you have worked public, right? I see.

Why are you stuck on campus for 8 hours?

In case I'm "needed". Usually hangin in the language lab (my office) fattening up my video and audio collection while I peruse this silliness. No complaints here, think I'll go have a quick beer. These folks keep soju in the fridge. And all the trash cans are full of emptys. Don't think the kiddies are drinking it, do you? I play robot with a grin that nods and bows alot with the adults. However, the kids are cool, and I help them as much as I can. But I take the situation for what it is. As I said, I've had the (mis) fortune of the hagwon experience and still have friends doing it. Most tell me past criminal convictions keep them out of the publics. So keep it clean, or at least don't get caught. Or do like others I've spoken to from the states and go to an area you haven't lived or been arrested in. Too easy. If you use your head, there'll never be too many hoops to jump through. I'm thirsty, have a good one pgf. You sound like your mind is quite well developed. If you ever have a question or a problem and would like additional input, p.m. me Peace out...................

But how do you make your money if you are on campus 8 hours per?

You get roughly more or less what I get at a hagwon that I HAVE to show up at for 4-6 hours per day. But, you are there 2-4 more hours per day than me. It's great that you get to relax in your down time, etc....but you can not make money in that down time. I understand why you think its a great job.... I agree you have a great job. But, if you want to maximize your income and you are not ready to take the step into "only private lessons land", I think a sho rt hour hagwon and many privates are in order......

If 2 or 2.5 / month is good, then yes, by all means, work at a uni or PS . I guess I'm just not used to living on that much money.... That's pizza delivery money back home.....

I do have my share of privates. Seek out the professionals, e.g. doctors dentists, lawyers etc. They generally pay top won and kick a** meals along with immediate assistance in their field if you need it.
