Just some things that I miss from the UK:

Teenage Pregnancy

Young Dangerous Hoodies

Obesity

Expensive Tax (that was when petrol was at 80 odd pence per litre)

and not forgetting

I do especially miss the pimped up Escorts and Cortinas. They've never heard about polishing a turd I suppose. Your pic is good, HOW CAN YOU PIMP A FORD KA????

Not being constantly hammered with images and tv programs of stupid celebs:

1. Taking bets on when the fighting is going to kick off whenever you go to the pub.

2. Huge gangs of 14 year olds hanging around on street corners getting bladdered and shouting abuse at everyone passing.

3. Having to take out a bank loan to buy a pack of cigarettes, or fill the car with petrol, or take a taxi, or take a train. (Bad English, I know, but I was on a mild rant.)

4. Having my door mirror booted off my car weekly. Yes, I mean the mirror on the near side, not the off side.

Now, on a serious note, I do genuinely miss:

1. Going to the footy every Saturday (well, when Sky Sports hasn't hijacked the game and moved it to another day/time anyway).

2. Decent Indian food.

3. Going into a greasy spoon type caff on a Sunday morning after a night on the piss for a good fry-up.

4. The Castle Tavern (my local boozer).

Ohhh how i miss Chavs. You gotta hand it to them, they are teenagers with a vengeance.

Nice to see some videos dedicated to them. Funny video of a chav who thinks he can run away from the police.

Lardy cake, mmm, sounds delicious!

People discussing, for what seems like hours on end, what route they took to get somewhere, i.e the M1 to the A3 and then onto the A1 and turn off when you get to the M51 (or whatever), etc. (I'm not British, and this used to drive me nuts when I lived there).

But hobnobs for sure.
