Anyone have an amiga back in the day? Awesome computers, way ahead of the competition at the time, but went under due to extremely poor management.

Well I stumbled across something very interesting the other day. An open source OS based on the Amiga operating system. It's called AROS and you can get a nightly updated equivalent of a live CD iso from their website at http://aros.sourceforge.net/.


They claim it's coming along pretty well and keeps the ridiculously low boot time (under 10 seconds)... I'm going to check it out this week just for kicks if I get a chance.
