Yea, I went to Suwon Blue Wings vs. Daejeon. It ended 2-0 in Suwon's favor. A good game.

I was there too. We (Daejeon) should have got something out of the game. Edu was the difference maker.

Are those the attendances in brackets? That's quite impressive. Do they taper off as the season goes on?

I might have to go catch a game in Suwon. I'd say 30,000 in that stadium is a hell of a lot better than 20,000 in the Seoul stadium. How about Seongnam? Is there a good atmosphere there?

Yes, they are the attendances. However, in some cases they may not be accurate. For example, the Busan crowd from the stadium pics was clearly much smaller than the one reported and there have been suggestions that they counted all the freebies they were giving away around town before the day of the match (regardless of whether people showed up or not).

On the other hand there are claims that the Seoul crowd was larger, and that Suwon was spot on.

Seongnam, unfortunately, despite having one of the best teams in Korea, is a pretty lifeless place to watch football. There are a few Seongnam themed threads @ ROKfootball as well.

The game of the week saw Seongnam and Suwon draw 2-2. A very interesting game to be at. The referee was complete shite, IMO Very Happy Edu was taken down and deserved a penalty, but the dumbarse ref turned a blind eye... Suwon then got a deserved red card with a nasty tackle on Mota by Lee Jung Soo. Here is a link to the week 2 review with updated tables, scores and stats.

03/22/2008 - 00:00

Seoul United v Gwangju IFU
Bucheon FC v Kyungju Citizen
Jeonju EM Korea v Changwon United
Jeonju Ongoeul v Goyang FC
Namyangju United v Pocheon FC
Yongin FC v Hwaseong Sinwoo

This is a schedule of games for this Saturday. Any idea what time the games start? Also, Seoul United plays at Seoul World Cup stadium, yea? I could only find this vague schedule information on rokfootball.com -- there weren't any times or places attached. I assume the first team is where the game will be played, but I don't know the exact names of each team's stadium.

The Joongang Ilbo lists out the games and information weekly, but I can't remember what day they do this on. And that schedule which they put in their newspaper isn't listed on their website, much to my dismay.
