You know the multiple re-entry form, can it be obtained from the airport/immigration at any time before you fly out, or is there an expiry date on it, which means you have to obtain it at a specific time.
Can the form be submitted at the airport/immigration at any time or does it have to be submitted just before the flight?
Thanks. |

| It's best to just take your passport, arc and a photo to immigration. The multi entry stamp will be done there and then(free for Brits). It shouldn't matter how soon in advance you do this. They usual last just under a year. For the airport I dunno. |

| I just did this not long ago. I went to immigration with my ARC and passport. You will fill out the application there. Then you give it all to the person working there and they stamp your passport immediately after you pay. Pretty simple process really....and maybe you dont pay because you are from UK???? |

At immigration
You can get a multiple re-entry permit at immigration, bring your passport and ARC as said in the above post. For me as a Canadian it cost me 50,000 won and took about 20 minutes of waiting after I handed in the form. This permit will last until the date stamped on your ARC (essentially the last day of your contract or visa). If you get a new visa, or renew your visa, you'll need a new re-entry permit.
At the airport
If you go to immigration at the airport (on the far back wall, near the currency exchange) then you can only get a single re-entry permit, and it costs 30,000 won. It is not possible to get a multiple re-entry at the airport. You'll be asked for your approximate travel dates, and be given an extra week or so (in my experience.) You must get this permit before you check in, otherwise they won't give you your boarding pass. Once you come back to Korea, this permit is used, and can't be used again.
So obviously if you are coming and going more than once, you are better off going to immigration near the beginning of your contract and just get your multiple re-entry. It will save you time at the airport, and money in the long run.
